Teletherapy
I meet with people residing in Maryland, Washington D.C., Illinois, Florida, Colorado, and Michigan via telehealth by using secure internet-based video conferencing. Teletherapy has become commonplace since the start of Coronavirus and can be especially convenient. Studies have shown that teletherapy is as effective as in-person therapy for many conditions, including depression and anxiety.
In Office
I meet in office in Rockville, MD for clients who prefer in-person sessions.
Meeting in the community
Therapy can be helpful outside of its traditional setting. This is often true for clients who benefit from exposures around phobias and anxiety related avoidance. If needed, I am open to doing experiential therapy in person.
